Not yet. Currently, the hands-on training that we are conducting is most practicably done in person. We will be producing an online course that will be available in the near future.

Until we are ready to offer online courses, the course will need to be performed on site.

On average, the course takes 3 months to complete. We offer a flexible programme that allows adjustment for different learning paces.

We have been teaching courses for the past 4 years, primarily to engineering students at Kenyan and foreign universities. We are now in the process of obtaining NITA accreditation for our beginners course, and have aligned our course structure with the requirements for IEEE certification whih we expect to get soon.

We have a wide range of development boards and components for circuit design. We also have various CAD software for electronics and for mechanical design. Also in house we have a fully equipped PCB processing lab including a dark room and robotic pick and place machine. Our sister company Gearbox Europlacer has a world class electronics manufacturing plant for surface mount technology (SMT) manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs). At Gearbox we also build Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines (plasma cutters, laser cutters, wood routers), 3D printers, vacuum formers, roto-moulders and automated pipe benders. Additionally we have hydraulic presses, pipe profilers, etc.
