Machine.ANI (Machine Africa Networks of Industries) is a shared production space that is used to enable and house micro-factories that convert manufacturing inputs to finished products. It represents a unique demonstration of the provision of shared resources to Jua Kali artisans and informal manufacturers.

Machine Africa provides a space for a supportive ecosystem and incubation space for hardware entrepreneurs providing SMEs and entrepreneurs access to tools that would typically be beyond their reach.

Machine Africa approach is also decidedly future-facing, meaning that the technologies and methodologies it avails to its beneficiaries are consistent with the 4th industrial revolution.

Machine Africa is focused on securing business contracts with the government, NGO and private sector with the aim of sub-contracting jobs to trained beneficiaries. .

Equipped with various machinery required in the production process. The automated services, minimise manual manufacturing methods and offers users and opportunity to increase the speed of production and quality of the products.

Provides space for continuous technical, business and life skills capacity building.

Machines available in a
MachineANI Makerspace

Access to modern capital-intensive manufacturing machines that are not readily accessible by Jua kali artisans. The machines are made accessible to beneficiaries and local Jua kali artisans at a subsidized fee enabling them to produce world class products with machines tailored to provide precision and efficiency in production. Users of the centers will have readily available expertise on site to assist and trouble shoot where necessary.
